Question 2: Where to apply to benefit from special education services?

To benefit from special education services, it is necessary to apply to the Guidance Research Center (RAM) affiliated with the MEB in the district of residence and to make educational diagnostics of the individual.
The first reference to educational evaluation and diagnosis of individuals; by the school board, parent, or individual over 18 years of age without mental disabilities; For individuals who benefit from the maintenance and housing services in official institutions, RAM is done by the personnel that the institution will assign with the official writing.
Work and procedures related to educational evaluation and diagnostics of individuals are carried out by the special education evaluation board established in RAM.

Question 5: Where is it necessary to apply for services from special education and rehabilitation centers?

With the "complete" filled "health board report for disabled persons" obtained from the hospitals authorized to provide COZGER, an application should be made to the Guidance Research Centers located in the district of residence.

Question 6 : By which institution is the payment of the fees of special education and rehabilitation centers?

Individuals with special educational needs are provided with special training support to realize the objectives of the training programs that they continue in educational environments of all types and levels. For this purpose, individual and group training opportunities are provided.

The part of the payment for special education services benefited by all disabled individuals identified by the "Special Education Evaluation Board" in which it needs special education is met by the Ministry of National Education. This amount is paid by the Ministry of National Education to the institution that provides special education services.

Question 7: How are educational services provided for the family of the disabled person?

Family education is an education that includes "guidance and counseling" services to contribute to the education of the disabled individual at all levels of education.
Family education services, guidance and research centers, special education schools, and institutions are prepared and carried out by schools with integration practices. If necessary, this service can also be carried out in homes.

Question 8: What kind of conveniences are provided for students with disabilities who take the university exam?

Necessary physical arrangements are made for students with disabilities who take the university exam.
