There is an income criterion for benefiting from the disability pension. When the total income of the household (securities-real estate) is divided by the number of residents of the household, the amount that occurs should not exceed the third of the net minimum wage.

Question 2 : How to benefit from the needy pension?

Following the provisions of the "Foundations Regulation", the needy pension can be connected. The needy pension is paid by the General Directorate of Foundations.

Question 3 : What is home care support?

The wages paid by the Provincial Directorate of Family, Labor, and Social Services are called home care support for those who will carry out the maintenance of the lives of disabled people at home. Home care support is not for disabled individuals, but for third parties such as relatives and guardians who take care of them.

Question 4 : How to benefit from home care support?

Three conditions are required for people with disabilities to receive home care support.
Determination of the average monthly income amount according to the number of individuals belonging to them or dependent on the sum of all kinds of income, regardless of the name, is less than 2/3 of the net minimum wage amount of one month,
The disability health board report that the disabled person will receive from the hospitals that give the delegation report must have a sign that says "Yes" in the severely disabled part,
It is necessary to determine with the care board report that the disabled person should need care in such a way that he cannot continue his life without the help of someone else.
To receive home care support, it is necessary to apply to the Provincial Directorate of Family, Labor, and Social Services at the residence of the disabled person or the Social Service Center Directorates, if any. In places where there are no directorates, applications can be made to the Governorships.

Question 5 : Is there an electricity discount for people with disabilities?

Electricity Billing Fee and Uninterrupted Power Supply Support are provided to disabled people and their families who have to live dependent on the device due to their chronic illness. Households living in patients who do not receive Home Care Assistance No. 3294 and who are dependent on the device due to chronic disease can benefit from an electricity discount. Applications can be made on behalf of the patient by the disabled/patient's proxy, guardian, or guardian, or if these people are not present, an application can be made by the staff of the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation in the patient's household. The following supports for electricity consumption are given to these families.

Electricity Consumption Support: It includes up to 200 TL per month of assistance according to the electricity consumption level of the device used to support electricity bills belonging to the housing of the rights holders.

Uninterrupted Power Supply Support: Uninterrupted power supply can be provided to the rights owners.

Accumulated Electricity Debt Support: In the first month of the start of the assistance, the accumulated electricity debts of the entitled households after the date of attachment to the device can be paid. For electricity assistance and support, our disabled citizens are required to apply to the 'Social Solidarity and Relief Foundations' with the necessary reports.

Question 6 : What are the measures taken to ensure the participation of disabled people in political life in our country?

In our country, disabled people have the right to choose, be elected, and participate in political life equally with other citizens. Various measures have also been taken to ensure this.

Visually impaired voters can vote with the help of a companion, visually impaired people who want to be allowed to vote through the voting template, disabled people who cannot climb stairs are selected following their voting status, disabled people vote without waiting in line, and mobile polling stations are sent to voters with disabilities or illnesses who cannot go to vote.
