As a result of the amendment made on the Protection of Minors from Obscene Publications Law No. 1117 in accordance with the Decree Law No. 703 of 09/07/2018, Board for the Protection of Minors from Obscene Publications has been established within our Ministry. Secretariat services of the Board are carried out by our Directorate General. Board for the Protection of Minors from Obscene Publications has a duty to make judgments if the printed works are offensive to those under the age of 18 and to work as an official expert to judicial bodies in relation to obscenity crime.
