A Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between the Family Institute of the Republic of Türkiye and the Maria Kopp Institute for Demography and Families of Hungary
During the International Family Forum held in Istanbul on May 22–23, 2025, a bilateral meeting was held between H.E. Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye, and H.E. Prof. Dr. Balázs Hankó, Minister of Culture and Innovation of Hungary.
Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Ms. Ayşenur Çoban, Director General of the Family Institute of the Republic of Türkiye, and Ms. Tünde Fűrész, President of the Maria Kopp Institute for Demography and Families of Hungary, with the aim of enhancing institutional cooperation in the fields of family and population.
Through this Memorandum, the parties committed to carrying out joint efforts for strengthening the family institution, protecting future generations, and promoting sustainable population growth. The Memorandum covers various forms of cooperation including research, policy development, knowledge sharing, expert exchange, and joint events, while also aiming to reinforce coordination between the parties and establish long-term strategic dialogue.
