Department of Care Services




The duties of the Department of Care Services are as follows:

  1. Carrying out services for the protection, care, physical, educational, psycho-social development of children in need of protection, for whom a care precaution or protection decision is made, as well as having them a job or profession and ensuring that they grow up as people who are beneficial to society,

 

  1. Within this context, in our country, opening public institutions for children in need of protection, carrying out services, carrying out administration and supervision of institutions, meeting the personnel and other needs of institutions,

 

  1. Conducting first response and evaluation services for children in need of protection in the child protection system, providing first admission services until the appropriate service model is determined for children, carrying out activities for the families of children, their periodic monitoring and evaluation, their organization and transfer procedures, and providing all kinds of support and guidance services that are necessary during the employment and the integration with society for young people leaving as adults.

 

Our institution models that provide care services under the Department;

  • Directorates of Child Homes and Child Homes Coordination Centre
  • Child Homes Building Complex
  • Child Protection First Response and Evaluation Centres
